1st and 2nd class had a very busy engineers week! We learned about simple machines such as a pulley, inclined plane and axel + wheel and found lots of examples of their use in the real world.
We then investigated how the height of an inclined plane (ramp) affected the distance an object would travel down the slope.
We designed and made catapults with our partners and then had great fun both inside and outside with some creative STEM challenges. Well done to all our budding engineers 👏🏻👏🏻
