1st and 2nd class have been very busy reading, following and writing their own procedures this month. We made snowman paper chains and salt dough Christmas decorations and are looking forward to making some Christmas treats next week!
We were also working hard on the comprehension strategy of visualising. We listened and created images for the poems ‘The Green Giant’, ‘My neighbour’s dog is purple’ and ‘ Ice-cream dreams. We also used our imagination and clues from the text to draw some images in response to the crazy short texts - Hello World and Shark Dentist! Well done everyone 👏🏻👏🏻
